It Was mere a coincident when I thought of writing a blog again after many years ,it was again a Tirupati Trip but as I promised in my previous blog this time we executed our plan with our own vehicle.
9th of January 2017 was a usual day for us when my phone bell rang. My husband called and asked whether, I am ready to travel to Tirupati on 11th, as one of his relative from Patna was visiting our home & showed willingness to go holy places in south India. Without giving a second thought I agreed as it was long due wish of mine after my son's birth to take blessing of load Venkesteshwara. We were lucky enough to get the ticket booked online in such a short time . We received 3.30 pm slot(VIP Ticket Rs.300/- each) on 11th of march 2017 since it was first week of January we were ready to face the crowd.
Finally the day came when we had to leave for the Holy trip. We Left our house at 5.30 am in the morning. My both kids were sleeping so we thought of dumped them to car without any noise so that we can drive the remaining journey peacefully ;).we took very well known road i.e Bangalore-Kolar-Palamaneru-Chittooru-Tirupati route to reach the destination. It was early morning so no traffic encountered. The whole road route was two lane and well maintained. we stopped for breakfast for 30 min near Palamaneru at very tempting and eye catchy restaurant named Mr. and Mrs Idly.

Food was normal but their service was very fast. Information for Devasthanam darsan you will get in every hotel and dhaba .We reached Tirupati by 8.40 am. We have stopped our car for security and baggage check & continue our drive through hill to reach the main temple. The road was unbelievable too good in the whole journey may be, cos Our PM visited same place last week :)

Security Check Point in the pics.
We have found Tirumala this time much organised and hygienic way. There were numerous of board showing direction and information displayed every 500 mtr. It was just 9.30 am only so we had plenty of time to explore whole area. The TTD authority has manage well everything from numerous public toilet to lodges . We need not felt to book room as everything was so organised . We parked our car near Reception/Information Centre as Tonsure hall was there. All the barbers sit there side by side . They don't charge anything but if you want to give something you can give as per your choice starting from Rs 10. Bathroom facilities was also there adjacent to tonsuring Room which was clean and maintained. After tonsuring we headed for bath & came to garden to wait for our time to come. In between we had our lunch from nearby hotel. However , there is facility of free drinks like buttermilk and badam milk on entrance of VIP gate just before security check .They had locker facilities also for those who by mistake brought mobile and leathers things. They will give you tokan and you can claim your things in Exit Counters no need to come back so long . Hatsoff to them for managing so well.
My son after Tonsuring !
We Entered the gate at 2:00 pm as one should be in queue one hour in advance . The line was moving slowly -slowly , there was some space for sitting. It is wise to seat whenever you get chance to :). Finally around 4 Pm we reached at a point where VIp entrees and free entrees get merged. It takes only few more minutes to take darsan after that. Special care needed for children as people start pushing you in this area. Finally we had a darsan around 4:20 pm & exited the temple happily. After collecting mobile we did little bit of photo shoot and had our tea. We left Tirumala around 6 pm in evening for Bangalore & Reached Bangalore by 11 pm in the night. Every one was tired so without much talking after freshen up we headed straight away to our bedroom ! :)
Note :
-For darsan ethenic wear is must for male and female both
- No electronic and leather items are allowed inside the temple.
- May be separate queue for children and old age as seen some person with volunteers
