Weekend Getaway from Bangalore - Un explore Bisle Ghat (Sakleshpur)
A trip to Bisle Ghat -
Bisle is the rain forest of western ghat . Approximately 260 km drive from Bangalore and 20 kms from famous Kukke Subrahmanya temple . Unknown to millions of people and unsung, but yet deserves visiting by nature-lovers on the way to Sakleshpur in the Hassan district.
Bisle Ghat road from Kukke Subrahmanya to Sakleshpur is full of challenges to travellers, trekkers and nature-lovers as the road is narrow and winding, with many har-pin curves, dangerous hill slopes on one side and deep valleys on the other and threat of wild animals including elephants.
In this trip we covered the famous temple "kukke Subramanyam" also where lord Kartikeya is worshipped as Subramanya , lord of all serpents.
There are very few temples in India where Sarpa Dosha can be remedied by performing a puja to rid the individual from the malefic effects of the dosha. One of those temples is the Kukke Subramanya Temple in Karnataka.🥰

Quick tip-
1. Very few property are there in Ghats section We stayed at western Valley resort . which is good property at Bisle ghat however being a North indian you have to compromise in food here.
2. Visitors are advised to carry water and food items with them while visiting this place as there are no shops or restaurants nearby.
3.For temple visit - tradition wear is must , Temple is closed between 1 to 4.30 pm .
4. Jeep ride to patla betta cost you Rs 800/- per family or per jeep depend upon no. Of family member. As much crowded jeep, is dangerous for ride .
