Hello readers,
I am back with yet another weekend getaway from Bangalore to share with you all.
YELLAGIRI Hill is a small hill station in Tamil nadu,which is approximately 150 km from Bangalore.
Just like any other trip this was also a sudden trip plan with my family . But thankfully we got a booking of resort via goibibo .
We started our journey little late this time as distance was little less n normally check in time for all the hotels are 12 noon.
We started from Bangalore at 9.30 am . Stopped vehicle at 11.30 for some food break at Krishnagiri and headed towards our journey on Vellore highway.
The road conditions is good to the hill n we enjoyed the drive thoroughly.
We reached our destination by 12.30 that was @agsholiday Resort . Checked in, freshener upn took rest for a couple of hours. We skipped lunch as we had our breakfast late .
At 4.00 pm we went to explore the city . The main attraction here are
1 .Yellagiri lake- This is artificial lake maintained well and has boating facilities n children park also . Entry fee is Rs 10 per adult . Boating charges are different which u have to pay inside which cost you around 200 INR for 20 min (padal boating) . Vechile parking available outside lake at the cost of Rs 50.
After a beautiful evening at lake we came outside and found so many local eateries n shop .
We tried potato twister ( rs 50/-), n local fish fry (Rs 50 per piece) and the taste of fish was superb 👌
After some junk shopping we headed towards
2 .Nature park - this park is situated just opposite to the lake . Its a well maintained park with water fountain ..some wooden bridge make a perfect place for photography.
The entry fee here Rs also Rs 20 per person .
3. FUNDURA park - is a privately maintained park . Entry fees- 200/- per head. You can feed all animal there. You can take picture of them . Overall good place for kids to njoy with pet animals.
4. yellagiri Bird park - is also same like FUNDURA but here inside u will get lot of adventure activities like zip linning , sky jump , mountains climbing etc along with pet feeding n nature walk . Entry for this also cost you Rs 200/- per person
5. Murugan temple - This temple is located at small hill and with few stairs you can reach this place. Upper city view is very beautiful from this hill .
6. Cloud entertainment park - almost all park are same as FUNDURA, where u can have adventure rides as well as spent some time with pet animals ,feed them, get click with them .By this time we tired of seeing same thing again n again so we skipped this one, For a refrence a photo of all the price list of activities are attached here. The activities package here also INR 200 ( inclusive all)
There is lot more to explore in this city as I heard there is a waterfall few km ahead but since it was already night , we skipped the plan and headed to Yellagiri city to have our dinner.
Near Lake side we found one good pizza shop named "mirrako " .The shop has limited menu but cosy and vibrant place .we njoyed our dinner and left for the resort .
After reaching hotel , the campfire 🔥 and the bollywood songs were waiting for us to Njoy our evening in most happening way. We just freshened up n came back to njoy the campfire n dance and left the ground to have a good sleep 😴
The resort where we stayed was great 👍 complimentry breakfast was delicious and spred was good with mix of some North Indian and south indian menus . The hospitality of the resort people were also commendable .The only cons with the resort is that - in room there was no coffee tea maker and when u crave for morning bed tea u have to call the room service 😔

Next day morning we woke up had a nature walk around the resort property ,used swimming pool, indoors games ,had breakfast and started our journey back to home sweet home i.e Bangalore.
