Payana car museum

While a regular trip to mysore last month  we have seen this newly opened vintage car museum located at Bangalore Mysore expressway near Sringapatna. The structure of entrance is so captivating that we couldn't stop ourself to visit this place although it was not in our plan. 

The museum timings are from 9 AM to 8 PM on all days with a nominal entry fee of 50 rupees for adults and free for children below 7 years. There is a big parking lot at the entrance and can easily accommodate quite a good number of cars.

The museum hosts a huge set of vintage cars on display from brands such as Fiat, Morris, Austin, Mercedes Benz, Willys, Toyota, Citroen and Hindustan Motors.

Here you can see the Iconic Jeeps that were used in the 2nd world War.Masterpieces of vehicles are shown here.

What to expect:

For the new learning visitors learn about the old history of the vehicle.

Know about the different techniques that are used in the old times.Engineering technique that was used in the past.

Along with its impressive car collection, Payana features an open-air theatre and a cafeteria, providing a full cultural experience.

This is a great place to learn about so many fact and history about automobiles and I am sure kids will love it. So try to include in your itinerary next when you are planning to visit mysore.
