Ayodhya Hill - hidden Gem In West Bengal n Jharkhand border

 So these time m sharing my visit to my home town (Ranchi) and places around there. 

Ayodhya Hill is located approximately 134 km from Ranchi city and 335km from Howrah station (kolkata).

This  place is at purulia district which is in border of jharkhand n West Bengal state. The road distance from Ranchi can be cover in 3 hours . Road is state highway and good in condition.

Ayodhya Hill is small  hill surrounded by lush green forest with 9_10 mesmerizing view point  which make a place worth for a holiday trip.

Good hotel in  hill is hardly available at the hill, only one resort HILL top is there which take online booking. However there are small homestay available but online booking facility is not there and you have to contact them directly after reaching there.

We stayed at Sagar Raj resort ,which is 40 km away from the hill and in purulia city.

This hills offer u some amazing hill views...,waterfall, tribal village cultures  and dam views.

To see this fall you have to Trek down around 40-50 step down. Trekking is moderate. There is no gate around so no closing time but it's recommended to come back by 6pm as it is 8n jungle.

Some eateries and chaiwala is available at the entrance to make ur appetite full 😊

Mayur pahad 

This place was once famous for the roaming of peacocks.  So it's called as Mayur pahad , if you’re lucky, you might even see a peacock, but unfortunately we were not 😜

You can see 360 view of dense forest from the view point Once you come to Mayur Pahar, you can fully enjoy the nature. It's a great place for trekkers also

Most attractive and scenic place to watch both the upper and lower dam give beautiful stunning view to capture the nature beauty.

Tribal Villege 
Once u are here u can explore the village of tribal made up of mud to gain some cultural knowledge
These mud house are beautiful and unique experience to watch specially for those who lives in city with multistorey buildings.

As a traveller I love eating at local dhabas to get the authentic taste 
There was more view point like marble lake ..pakhi pahar etc to explore the beauty of this hill . But since it was too hot as we came in May month ,we have ended our trip in one day and back to our city next day .

Best season - oct to march 

Where to stay - good 4star hotel - @sagar Raj resorts , purulia  good hospitality and clean rooms . Ayodhya Hill is just 35 km from here.
